ABOUT CANDACE
The taunting due to my freckles, buck teeth, frizzy hair, chicken legs, & four eyes began when I was 8 & by the time I was in my late 20s, I was convinced I was ugly.
In 2009, everything changed. I had a makeover shoot & suddenly realized that I was beautiful. Eventually, I got into modeling & decided to use my skills on both sides of the camera to change others' lives.
For the past 15 years, my passion for fashion has profoundly shaped my photography.
I love transforming fleeting moments into timeless works of art, infusing every shot with a chic, editorial flair.
I'm genuinely thrilled to have the opportunity to capture your beauty & all the love that surrounds beautiful YOU.
From an early age, I was captivated by the world of fashion and the glossy allure of magazines, but felt ugly in comparison due to childhood bullying.
At age 8, I was bullied by my peers & my crush said I was ugly.

I launched Beautiful You Studios to help other women feel beautiful.
I closed my portrait studio in Dallas, moved to Austin, & rebranded as Whisper & Vow in order to add couples to my offerings.
